The Research & Insights Analyst supports the marketing and selling of the Toronto Region as a location for business by compiling, maintaining and continuously improving the communication of relevant up-to- date data, information and tools that meet the needs of corporate location decision-makers.

The Research & Insights Analyst will also assist in undertaking strategic projects and fostering critical partnerships with private sector service providers, municipal funding partners, think tanks, universities and cluster groups with the objective of continually strengthening the organization’s ability to undertake targeted prospecting, refine and communicate sectoral and general value propositions and provide value-added location advice.

This position is an excellent match for someone with strong analytical skills, a background in business research, along with an aptitude for collaboration and communication. Familiarity with Statistics Canada data is required. Familiarity with industrial and commercial real estate market data, U.S. Census data and other relevant site selection data sources is preferred.
